Spring 2008, recorded with Ben at Flesh and Bone Studios, London.
lyrics
You know it's hard, so hard, when you're far, so far from your other.
And so you pass out cold, in the hopes that the skies will pass rapid.
And with those lungs full of smoke you impose on yourself for the fever.
Does the South stretch out like they say to the wild, open coastals?
And could we speak with our burnt up insides like we're jetting for heaven?
And could we dust ourselves with the sun on a hot, level surface?
(Like we knew we were setting).
And who'll take us in? With our bodies in baskets, oh the state we're in.
And who'll clean us up? When it's surgery to seal up papercuts.
